I am extremely proud to announce that my son Braxten Stanley Barner was born May 31, 2009. He was 6 weeks early so we spent a few days in the NICU before we could take him home. Despite him being early he weighed 6 lbs 4 oz and was 19.5 inches long. Check out how cute he is below!!

It was a really fun time at Cheyenne Frontier Days this year. I did get any money out of there but I did get my picture in Sports Illustrated. I ran my steer right in front of the camer a pit and a photographer captured a great shot of me bulldogging. Check out the link to the picture.

Dan is finishing up the last big weekend for amateur rodeoing for the NSRA and MSRA.

Nebraska State Rodeo Association Finals in North Platte, NE at the Buffalo Bill Arena. I had a good weekend placing in a couple of the rounds and the average. Overall I won the year end buckle and saddle!!

Mid-States Rodeo Association Finals in Valentine, NE. I had a great weekend placing in a couple of the rounds and winning the average. Overall I won the year end buckle and saddle.

Prairie Circuit Finals in Kansas City, MO. I am on the brink of qualifying, hopefully I can put a little more money together to make it.

We are also starting the new year for the pro season. My goal is to get into the top 5 to qualify for Houston and San Antonio.
